Kia Ora. My name is Tomoko Yamaguchi. I am originally from Japan and have been here in New Zealand for 29 years. I am based in Palmerston North and cover Palmerston North, Levin, and Pahiatua face to face. I also am an online provider throughout the country. I work Mondays and Fridays 9 am -5 pm and also have some weekend availability. I am a clinical psychologist with 12 years of experience working with diverse backgrounds, specifically children, youth and family/whānau groups. I also have been working with grief and people bereaved by suicide. I am drawn to this area of work as I believe that every person should be able to access support to tell their story, process their experiences in a way that is safe, without fear of being judged, and that their story is honoured. Together, we can work on ways to help you process your thoughts, feelings and experiences.
